The Lord High Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor worked tirelessly through the evening to construct a set of new apartment buildings in a new Salisbury suburb to meet the increased demand from new residents.

After a sudden influx of citizens, there has been a higher than normal demand for residential spaces in Salisbury.

As a response, the Chancellery created the new suburb of Swanmore which borders with Watford — both in Salisbury. The current city plan provides for the construction of several amenities including a public house, hotel and a bathroom as well as a significant number of new residential buildings.

Construction on the residences has already started, with the Lord High Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor working through the evening earlier this week to build a set of apartment buildings which have already been opened to the public.

Dredging work has also started on the newly-named Salisbury Canal, so that supply and passenger ships are able to travel through the previously-shallow waters.

A strong believer in aesthetic beauty as well as utility, the Lord’s Council has placed an order for a large number of decorative materials to line the floor of the canal. Unfortunately, the Gazette understands that due to international coronavirus travel restrictions the shipment is delayed.

Works for the project are expected to be completed in late September.
