The mayoral debate in Mount Augusta has been suspended following a terrorist attack causing several explosions across two theatres, with at least two casualties reported.
Incumbent judge and mayoral candidate, waffle4breakfast, is alleged to have detonated tens of explosives during today’s mayoral debate.
As a throng of voters and spectators gathered around the mayoral candidates, a hole appeared in the roof of the theatre shortly before a number of bombs fell from the sky, witnesses say.
Detonating on the gallery floor just in front of the stage, the explosions caused extensive damage to the Orpheum Theatre gallery floor and allegedly killed a bystander.
The debate then moved to a second theatre and continued for some time before waffle4breakfast reappeared with more explosives.
Chaos ensued when further bombs were detonated, causing further deaths and significant losses of personal property.
Those affected told the Gazette that they have lost full sets of prot to the terrorist.
Minutemen bystanders chase terrorist
After the debate moderator adjourned the debate due to the emergency, the bystanders took to the streets to chase waffle4breakfast through the city in an attempt to imprison him.
At one point, the minutemen had the terrorist surrounded. But before they could capture him, he escaped into a bunker.
The Gazette understands that waffle4breakfast remains a wanted fugitive and that attempts to capture him are still underway.
Consequences await
These bombings come after waffle4breakfast recently expressed ‘sadness’ with the former mayor’s decision to pardon him for his role in griefing a building in Mount Augusta as he wished to “have been held responsible”.
A vote to remove him from the judiciary is underway.
“It was not my intention to cause any monetary harm to any of the citizens who were attending this rally. I intend to pay full reparations to these players,” waffle4breakfast said in an interview with the Top of the Rock podcast.
He awaits trial for his actions.
The mayoral election is set to see a new mayor returned to office tomorrow.
Early indications show that, prior to the bombing, waffle4breakfast was unlikely to win.
More to come.
